An online lesson price can vary from USD 133.5 to USD 200 per hour. It depends on the tutor's level of experience, qualification and feedback from previous students on our platform.

Our tutors are English-speaking professionals with Top STEP education and a brilliant work experience at such companies as Uber, Yandex, Glassdoor e.t.c. They work as Math teachers, Mathematicians, Statisticians, Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, etc. Our tutors have joined the platform from all over the world.

Depending on her or his level of teaching math in English skills, a tutor chooses an individual hour rate for the lesson.

First lesson with a tutor

After your tutor will contact you to set up the first lesson, by the time of the lesson:

• You will receive preparation instructions. You'll get the link to the test which you shall take to define your math level and readiness for the chosen program before the lesson. Before the call, you will have to check the quality of your internet connection, and the function of your browser, web camera and sound.
  
• At the scheduled time, you will have a call from your math tutor via Google Hangouts/Duo/Skype/Zoom and receive an invite link to a painting platform.
  
• Your lesson will include a few test questions to make sure you understand all of the theoretical parts of the lesson. If not, your tutor will take the time to explain both intuitions and formal theory; afterwards, you'll dive deeper into solving different problems and training your skills.
  
• After a lesson, you'll get homework and an email with a feedback form about the lesson.
  

Other lessons will be the same as the first lesson, but it's not necessary to take the level test definition test except one-quarter and halfway through the course to make sure you make progress.

We don't provide trial lessons at the moment. However, the first online call is for free and needed for defining a student's math level and clarifying his study or professional goals.

It takes from 1 and up to 2 hours per lesson. We recommend spending not more than 1.5 hours online because it seems the optimal length of time for maximal concentration.

Google account (Google Classroom & Calendar) and our store account at Podia is enough. You will need a laptop, a high-speed internet connection, a recent Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Opera browser version installed, a webcam, a microphone and audio speakers or headphones. Also, you'll need some paper and a pen or pencil.

We are ready to work with students at all levels; however, our tutors have their individual optimal student qualifications as well. To understand which tutor suits you better, you should take a math level-determining test.

We suppose that to consider your process successful, these simultaneous conditions are necessary:
1. Positive student' and tutor feedback on organizational and communication sides of lessons.
2. Objectively, progressing math skills measured by passing the test and answering the control questions.
3. Ability to solve complex problems independently.

Yes, you can. If a tutor isn't fit for you, we'll know about it immediately. We ask our students to share their feedback right after a lesson to keep an eye on their comfort and effectiveness of the lessons.

The level can be different. For some of your students, it is a serious effort to understand some scientific details. For other nearly everything will be clear. We'll take your preferences into account.

If no, you are expected to take time to explain both intuitions and formal theory; afterwards, you'll solve a sufficient amount of different problems to train the students skills.
• After a lesson, you'll share a homework with a sudent and get an email with a feedback form about the lesson.

Other lessons will be the same as the first lesson, but it's not necessary to take the level definition test for student except quarter- and semi-course checkups to make sure your students makes progress.

You are supposed to take test and then have an online interview with us. We'll also collect feedback from students about the lessons organization, their comfort level.
